📢 Urgent Update from NTA

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the **CUET UG 2026 Syllabus** well in advance to help students prepare. According to the official advisory released on **December 27, 2025**, significant changes have been introduced in domain subjects like Economics and Business Studies.

⚠️ Note: The syllabus has *increased* for many subjects. Do not rely on old NCERT books blindly. Check the updated topics below.

Key Syllabus Changes (2026)

📉 Economics / Business Eco

  • Old Pattern: Only Micro & Macro Economics.
  • New Addition: Indian Economic Development has been added as a third mandatory book.
  • Impact: Students now have to study 3 books instead of 2.

💼 Business Studies

  • Old Pattern: Topics like Financial Markets were deleted/reduced.
  • New Addition: Financial Markets chapter has been fully restored and must be studied.
  • Impact: Comprehensive coverage of Class 12 syllabus plus deleted chapters.

⚛️ Science Domains

  • Physics, Chemistry, and Biology syllabi have also been updated.
  • Check for “Deleted Topics” from CBSE that might be included in CUET 2026.
  • General Test (GT) syllabus remains largely similar but check for GK updates.

📝 General Instructions

  • Syllabus for all languages (including Urdu, Hindi, English) is live.
  • General Aptitude Test (GT) topics are specified in the last section of the PDF.
  • Start preparation early as competition will be tougher this year.

2 Click on the “Syllabus” tab in the main menu.
3 Select your Domain Subject (e.g., Accountancy, Biology, History).
